About Us
Rusty and Sons Lawncare is a full-service lawncare company owned and operated by Rusty Olsen. Rusty is a hardworking self-motivated young family man who has a passion for lawncare equal to that of his passion as a father.
Rusty was born and raised in Lincoln County, Missouri. Rusty started out helping on the farm raising hogs then moved up to helping with the planting and harvesting of row crops. His family bought a restaurant in 2004 where Rusty worked when they needed help.
At age 18, Rusty began work as a truck driver but after years of driving, he grew tired to same old routine and stress that comes with driving a big truck.
One day, his wife sat him down and asked him what he could do every day, enjoy, and be happy with at the end of the day. With three young sons growing up quickly and eager to step up and follow in his footsteps, the name and legacy was born.
Rusty and Sons Lawncare was started in 2016 and by the grace of God, it has flourished over the past few years. It has grown to the point where Rusty has one full-time employee by his side daily and his wife works part-time doing the books, billing, and routing.
Rusty is an avid outdoor enthusiast sharing his love with his boys and wife fishing, hunting, boating, raising livestock, and hiking.
